This is a story about a mom digging into her daughter’s boyfriend’s past.
What’s it about?
Nonoko’s daughter, Yaya, is back in Japan after two years of studying abroad. She brought home a guy named Drake Richards. Seems chill, right? Not really. Yaya drops a bomb: “Hey, we’re getting married. Just thought you should know.” An unexpected shotgun wedding? Nonoko’s not having it. “Love isn’t enough—you’ve gotta plan ahead for marriage!” So now it’s up to Mom to figure out if this dude is really husband material.
