And a video game, shorn of the gritty real-life everywhere, will be welcome. NBA 2K21 will certainly be welcomed with open arms, not just by the NBA fans or Basketball lovers, but people everywhere hoping to escape the ever-present threat of the Great Death, if only for some time.

The Covers
There are four different covers for the NBA 2K21 game, making it one for each edition of the game. But there are only three cover stars. They are Damien Lillian Portland Trail Blazers), Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans), and the truly legendary Kobe Bryant (this edition is named after him). This is a younger Bryant going airborne, wearing a number 8 jersey for the Lakers.

The Gameplay
That there will be no cross-play is the only gameplay addition that is known so far, the rest are closely guarded secrets. But cross-progression across generations will be available for anyone who upgrades. The Pro Stick, which has been around for over a decade, is now fully changed to make for exciting dribble play and the raw realism of the best shot play. The jump shot meter no longer runs vertically, but now runs horizontally, and replaces the earlier red filling, is now designated by an easily visible dot. Skills and dunks receive pre-eminence here than in earlier versions.
The Factcheck
The Platforms scheduled so far are Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Google Stadia. But the later additions will be PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. But there is already some controversy over publishers who have shattered unity by offering upgrades only to the buyers of the game who purchase the special Black Mamba edition of the game. But there are also super bonuses with this edition, namely in the gripping and realistic graphics with high-resolution PIP (pictures in pictures) and stunning audio. Though the first trailer released by the makers was a bit of a bore, with only some shots of previous stars, the next release has picked up the pace. All the latest stars are there, there are interviews and vivid discussions, and magical close shots of basketball wizardry from the best. Particular attention has been paid to the highlighted cover star, Damian Lillard. The blinding soundtrack is the epic Stormzy piece, “Audacity”.
